I have over 20 years experience as a social worker and in private practice as a counselor. I have practiced counseling in California, Washington, Florida, and I’m happy to be home again in California.
My experience is in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, and Clinical Therapy with adults and adolescents.
I have also worked as a Clinician working with children and families in crisis, trauma, and family reunification work with at risk families. I am often required to write reports, letters, or provide testimony in a court setting, and am experienced in doing so.
I also provide individual counseling with emphasis on problems solving and enhancement of a persons' strength and uniqueness.
I am here to provide support and assistance to people who are seeking to make positive changes in their lives. I also provide brief therapy for those that are ready and willing to deal with the trials that they face, and have a desire to make positive strides in their life towards change. We all deserve to be happy and live joyful lives, sometimes it takes dealing with the past and the present in order to look to a positive future.
I specialize in working with Anxiety and Depression issues and use cognitive behavioral and solution focused interventions in my work. I believe that when you change your thoughts you change your life.
I look forward to meeting you and am anxious to help you on your road to change.
